Micro Majora's Termina- Complete
This is the sum total of an imposing project I've been wanting to do for a while. Definitely different than most of my work, which tends to be character figures. The concept was to create the world of Majora's Mask in five interlocking pieces, with as much detail as possible, on a very small scale. Notable landmarks are stylistically enlarged to mark their importance.

When all five pieces (central Termina, southern swamp, northern mountains, western ocean, eastern canyon) are brought together, they form this. The pieces each have wire pegs and holes to help them interlock, and the entrance to each region matches up with the appropriate path coming from the center, as shown. The river from Ikana also flows into the waterfall in the swamp. The combined structure is 12 inches from east to west, 12 inches from north to south, and 7 inches to the top of the moon. Quarter shown for scale.

See my gallery for separate photos and descriptions of each component.

Created entirely with Sculpey brand polymer clay (no paint), with minimal wire armatures and foil cores for structure, cotton balls for smoke effect, and glue-on grass from Warhammer 40k. Grainy effect on moon and mountains courtesy of Sculpey's "Granite" color.

Micro Majora's Termina- East (Ikana Canyon)
This is the fifth piece of an imposing project I've been wanting to do for a while. Definitely different than most of my work, which tends to be character figures. The concept was to create the world of Majora's Mask in five interlocking pieces, with as much detail as possible, on a very small scale. Notable landmarks are stylistically enlarged to mark their importance.

This is eastern Termina, at Ikana Canyon. Main features include the graveyard (with Captain Keeta), the music box house atop the cliff, Ikana Castle, and Stone Tower + Stone Tower Temple. Also included are the Ikana gatekeeper, the rest of Ikana Village (including Poe House and Great Fairy Fountain), the well, Sakon's Hideout, and the river leading to the waterfall in the Southern Swamp. This piece is 6 inches across at its widest, and 3.5 inches to the top of Stone Tower Temple. Quarter is shown for scale.

Created entirely with Sculpey brand polymer clay (no paint), with minimal wire armatures and foil cores for structure, and glue-on grass from Warhammer 40k.

Micro Majora's Termina- West (Great Bay)
This is the fourth piece of an imposing project I've been wanting to do for a while. Definitely different than most of my work, which tends to be character figures. The concept was to create the world of Majora's Mask in five interlocking pieces, with as much detail as possible, on a very small scale. Notable landmarks are stylistically enlarged to mark their importance.

This is western Termina, at Great Bay. Notable features include Great Bay Temple, Marine Laboratory, Pirate's Fortress, a sea snake, and the turtle (in lieu of Zora Hall). Also included are the various topographical features of the region, including the rocks leading to the Fairy Fountain, the cliffs leading to the Waterfall Rapids, the fisherman's house and ocean Spider House, the Scarecrow cliffs, and the fisherman's jumping game arena. This piece is 5 inches at its widest and 1.5 inches at its tallest (top of the lab's hook). Quarter shown for scale.

Created entirely with Sculpey brand polymer clay (no paint), with minimal wire armatures and foil cores for structure, and glue-on grass from Warhammer 40k.

Micro Majora's Termina- North (Snowhead)
This is the third piece of an imposing project I've been wanting to do for a while. Definitely different than most of my work, which tends to be character figures. The concept was to create the world of Majora's Mask in five interlocking pieces, with as much detail as possible, on a very small scale. Notable landmarks are stylistically enlarged to mark their importance.

This is northern Termina, which encompasses the mountains at Snowhead. Notable features include Snowhead Temple to the west, Mountain Village in the middle, and Goron Village to the east. Also included are Kaepora Gaebora the owl (sitting on the Lens of Truth shrine), the Mountain Smithy (with cotton ball smoke coming out of chimney), and the path to Goron Village (with its little islands and entrance to Goron Racetrack). This piece is 8 inches across and 3 inches to the top of Snowhead Temple. Quarter shown for scale.

Created entirely with Sculpey brand polymer clay (no paint), with minimal wire armatures and foil cores for structure, and glue-on grass from Warhammer 40k. Grainy effect courtesy of Sculpey's "Granite" color.

Micro Majora's Termina- South (Woodfall and Ranch)
This is the second piece of an imposing project I've been wanting to do for a while. Definitely different than most of my work, which tends to be character figures. The concept was to create the world of Majora's Mask in five interlocking pieces, with as much detail as possible, on a very small scale. Notable landmarks are stylistically enlarged to mark their importance.

This is southern Termina, including the swamp at Woodfall and Romani Ranch. Sitting in the center is the Woodfall caldera, which houses Woodfall temple. Deku Palace is visible to the southwest, the witches' potion shop sits at the northeast corner, and the tourism bureau is hidden behind the mountain at the entrance to the swamp (see alternate view). Romani Ranch features one of its resident cows and a "ghost" trying to abduct it. Also included are the southern Spider House, roadblocking Octorok, and the waterfall leading from Ikana river. This region is 6 inches across at its widest point, and 2 inches to the top of Woodfall Temple. Quarter shown for scale. The caldera's ring was made with cotton balls, torn apart and dyed with food coloring, and glued to a wire ring.

Created entirely with Sculpey brand polymer clay (no paint), with minimal wire armatures and foil cores for structure, and glue-on grass from Warhammer 40k.

I've known for a few months that something of mine would be appearing in the book, but because I sent in a ton of pictures, I wasn't sure which one(s) would be used.  Turns out that all of them (Metal, Quick, Heat, Air, Wily, Snake, Shadow, Needle, Elec, Fire, Burner, and Cut) made the cut (bwah ha ha pun).  They all appear on page 203 of the book.

So... please buy it?
